These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) are an agreement between BurrowUp (“BurrowUp,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and you. By accessing or using burrowup.co (the “Site”) or our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site. We may update these Terms at any time by posting the revised version here; continued use means you accept the changes.

1. Our Services
BurrowUp offers free, AI-assisted tools that help consumers organize their existing debts and compare payoff strategies — such as paying the highest interest rate first, the smallest balance first, or a hybrid — along with progress tracking and optional reminders. BurrowUp is not a lender, debt consolidation company, debt settlement company, credit repair organization, or credit counseling agency. We do not offer, arrange, or broker loans, and we do not negotiate with your creditors.
2. Not Financial Advice
All plans, forecasts, and recommendations are educational estimates based solely on the information you enter and on simplifying assumptions (for example, fixed interest rates, on-time payments, and no new charges). They are not financial, legal, tax, or investment advice, and we are not licensed financial advisors or fiduciaries. Actual results will vary. Consult a qualified professional before making financial decisions.
3. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and a U.S. resident to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure, for all activity under your account, and for providing truthful, up-to-date information. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Free Service
BurrowUp's planning tools are currently provided free of charge. If we introduce optional paid features in the future, we will notify you before any charge applies, and nothing will be charged without your express agreement.
5. Communications
By creating an account, you agree that we may send you transactional emails related to your account. You may opt out of non-essential emails at any time using the unsubscribe link or our unsubscribe page. Text messages are sent only if you separately opt in, as described in Section 6.
6. SMS / Text Message Terms
- Program description: The BurrowUp text program sends recurring automated service updates and account notification texts, including payment due-date reminders, payoff milestone alerts, monthly progress recaps, and account/security notices, to users who opt in.
- How you opt in: by entering your mobile number and checking the SMS consent box on our account sign-up form. Consent is not required to create an account or use our services.
- Message frequency: Msg frequency varies, typically up to 8 messages per month.
- Cost: Message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier for details of your plan.
- Opt out: Reply STOP to any message to cancel. You will receive one final message confirming you have been unsubscribed, and no further messages will be sent. You may also opt out at our unsubscribe page.
- Help: Reply HELP to any message, email [email protected], or call (000) 000-0000.
- Carriers: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Privacy: Your mobile number will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Site for any unlawful purpose; submit false information or information about another person without authorization; upload malicious code; scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the Site or our models; or circumvent security features.
8. Intellectual Property
The Site and its content, design, software, and models are owned by BurrowUp or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SITE AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT ANY PLAN OR FORECAST IS CORRECT, COMPLETE, OR SUITABLE FOR YOUR SITUATION.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BURROWUP AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY FINANCIAL LOSS ARISING FROM YOUR RELIANCE ON ANY PLAN OR RECOMMENDATION, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR SERVICES.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold BurrowUp harmless from claims, losses, and expenses arising from your use of the Site or your violation of these Terms.
13. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [Governing State], without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and applicable federal law.
15. Arbitration
Except for small-claims matters, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. 16. Class Action Waiver
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YOU AND BURROWUP AGREE THAT CLAIMS MAY BE BROUGHT ONLY IN AN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING.
17. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.
