- Personal Information: information you provide, such as your name, email address, mobile telephone number, and password when you create an account or contact us.
- Debt Plan Information: information you choose to enter to build a payoff plan, such as debt nicknames, balances, interest rates, minimum payments, and your monthly payoff budget. We do not collect bank account numbers, credit or debit card numbers, Social Security numbers, or login credentials for any financial institution, and we do not pull your credit report.
- Usage Information: information collected automatically, such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and referring URLs.

Children. Our services are intended for adults. Users must be 18 or older to register, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
2. Cookies and Tracking

4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as follows:
- Service providers who perform functions on our behalf — such as hosting, data storage, email and text message delivery, analytics, and customer support — under contracts that limit their use of your information to providing services to us.
- Legal requirements when required by law or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to comply with legal process, protect our rights, prevent fraud, or protect the safety of any person.
- Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of the text message services.

If you provide your mobile number and check the SMS consent box, you agree to receive recurring automated service updates and account notification texts from BurrowUp, such as payment reminders, payoff milestone alerts, and account notices. Consent is not a condition of using our services. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. 6. Data Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including TLS/SSL encryption in transit and encryption at rest, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Data Retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.
8. Your Choices and Opt-Out
You may update your account information, stop text messages by replying STOP, unsubscribe from emails using the link in any email or our unsubscribe page, or ask us to delete your account. Opt-out requests are processed and your contact information added to our internal do-not-contact list within ten (10) days.
9. California and Other State Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live (including California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request access to or deletion or correction of your information, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. BurrowUp uses automated models to analyze the debt information you enter and generate payoff recommendations. We may use de-identified, aggregated data to improve our models.
